I am 39, married for going on 11 years. We reside in Lexington, KY and we absolutely love this area. We have no human children, but we do have 5 furry kids that mean the world to us; 2 cats and 3 crazy dogs, respectively. Currently, I work out of the home as a cash applications specialist for a worldwide uniform rental company. I am by no means an expert at anything other than being myself.
I created this blog to talk about things that matter to me, in hopes that they matter to someone else, as well. I do love beauty and fashion, but I also think it's important to discuss other things that matter, as well. For instance, 3 years ago I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism and it was a downhill battle to get well for over 2 years. A month ago, I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes and sometimes it feels that I can't win for losing, but I'm keeping a positive outlook. You will never see me get down about any of these issues that I have.
Not only do I want to share with you the trials and tribulations of life, but I also want to share the sunshine and blue skies, as well. Thank you for joining me here and I hope that we'll each learn a little something about the other.
